is seeking a Senior System Engineer to manage, optimize, and secure our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, virtualization, backup, and end-user systems. You will lead business continuity, disaster recovery, and IT security initiatives while mentoring junior IT staff, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, Exchange.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V) and cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 services.
• Knowledge of IT security best practices, CIS standards, and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Windows Server infrastructure (AD, DNS, Exchange, print servers).
• Administer Windows, Linux, VMware/Hyper-V, and cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
• Manage Microsoft 365 / Office 365 services and user support.
• Implement and maintain system backups using Veeam, Symantec, Arcserve, or equivalents.
• Conduct patch management, firmware updates, and system health checks.
• Troubleshoot firewalls, routers, VPNs, and LAN/WAN connectivity.
• Plan and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.
• Manage infrastructure applications post go-live: VCenter, WSUS, TrendMicro/Symantec, Veeam, MSSP services.

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to manage, optimize, and secure our IT infrastructure. This role involves hands‑on administration of servers, networks, cloud services, virtualization, backup solutions, and end‑user systems. You will also lead initiatives in business continuity, disaster recovery, and IT security while mentoring junior IT staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Systems Management

• Design, implement, and manage Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, Exchange, and print servers.
• Administer Windows, Linux, VMware, Hyper‑V, and cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
• Manage Microsoft 365 / Office 365 services, including configuration, troubleshooting, and user support.
• Implement and maintain system backups using Veeam, Symantec, Arcserve, or equivalent solutions.
• Conduct patch management, firmware updates, and system health checks.

Networking & Security

• Basic administration and troubleshooting of firewalls, routers, VPNs, and LAN/WAN connectivity.
• Implement security measures following CIS standards and ensure compliance.
• Conduct bi‑weekly user access reviews and manage account security (CyberArk, AD).

Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery

• Plan and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery strategies, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Monitor backup processes, system recovery readiness, and DR drills.

Application & Service Administration

• Manage infrastructure applications post go‑live: VCenter, WSUS, TrendMicro/Symantec, Veeam, and MSSP services.
• Oversee router/SMS gateway management, user access, and service configuration.

Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Support

• Diagnose interoperability issues across Exchange, Active Directory, and other infrastructure services.
• Monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning, and resolve incidents promptly.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior IT staff.

ITIL & Operational Practices

• Apply ITIL practices for configuration, change, and release management.
• Maintain detailed documentation of systems, configurations, and processes.
