Job summary

Versa Networks is seeking a passionate Solution Architect to help customers evaluate, adopt and expand the use of our SD-WAN technology. You will lead architectural design for large-scale deployments and work with customers and partners to validate concepts and solutions.

The role requires Mandarin and English, security clearance, and hands-on networking expertise across WAN/LAN, cloud platforms, and security, with travel as needed. Singapore-based; hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Mandarin and English language proficiency required.
• Security clearance is required to support Federal Agencies.
• Experience designing or operating large WAN/LAN networks.
• Strong TCP/IP understanding and WAN technologies.
• Hands-on with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, VMware).

Responsibilities

• Evangelize technical leadership to customers and partners.
• Provide architectural design services for state-of-the-art SD-WAN deployments with HLD/LLD documentation.
• Perform hands-on tests to validate PoC setups, network designs and deployments.
• Provide Professional Services on assignment bases to strategic customers.
• Author whitepapers, knowledge base articles and other customer-facing content.

Job Summary

We are looking for passionate, entrepreneurial, and tech-savvy Solution Architect to help our customers and partners evaluate, adopt and expand the use of our technology.

Responsibilities

• Evangelize technical leadership to our customers and partners.
• Provide architectural design services of state-of-art SDWAN deployments, including HLD/LLD documentation.
• Perform hands-on tests to validate customer proof-of-concept setups, network designs, and network deployments using new products and feature.
• Provide Professional Services on assignment bases to strategic customers.
• Author whitepapers, knowledge base articles, and other customer/partner facing content.

Qualifications

• *Language Requirement: Mandarin & English speaking
• *Security Clearance is required, as this role will be supporting Federal Agencies specifically
• Experience in planning and designing or operating service provider or large enterprise WAN/LAN networks.
• In depth understanding of TCP/IP protocol stack and operation.
• Knowledge on WAN technologies and protocols like MPLS, MPLS based VPNs, BGP, OSPF, QoS, NAT, Multicast.
• Knowledge in architecting and/or managing large-scale, high performing and resilient Enterprise networking solutions.
• Knowledge on Linux administration.
• Shell scripting, python scripting knowledge.
• Travel may be required to support customers on site
• Desired Skills:
  • Operational knowledge on next gen firewalls/UTMs, IDS/IPS and malware prevention systems.
  • Knowledge on best practices architectures for SaaS applications.
  • Hands-on experience in public and private cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, Openstack, VMware.
• Competencies:
  • Great analytical thinking.
  • Ability to think full stack when it comes to problem solving.
  • Ability to learn new technology quickly.
  • Excellent hands-on skills in deploying and troubleshooting complex networks.
  • Willingness to help customers, peers and other team members at any time.
