Job summary

Skyworks Global Pte Ltd in Bedok, Singapore is seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer to own supplier quality performance and lead continuous improvement across the supply base. You will drive KPI metrics, supplier audits, and risk-based supplier development.

The role requires leading investigations (8D, 5-Why) and supporting IQC, APQP activities for new products, while working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Ensure supplier quality via KPI monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Conduct supplier audits against ISO/IATF standards and customer requirements.
• Qualify new suppliers through technical evals, process audits, and risk assessments.
• Lead supplier quality investigations (8D, 5-Why) and verify corrective actions.
• Support IQC, inspection plans, and minimize incoming material risk.
• Review APQP docs (FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC) for new products.

• Own and improve supplier quality performance through KPI monitoring, supplier reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments covering quality systems, manufacturing processes, capabilities, and compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer requirements.
• Qualify new suppliers through technical evaluations, process audits, and risk assessments.
• Lead supplier-related quality issue investigations, containment actions, root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA), and corrective action verification.
• Strengthen Incoming Quality Control (IQC) by optimizing inspection plans, analyzing quality trends, and reducing incoming material risks.
• Support new product and process introductions by reviewing APQP-related documents such as FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, process validation, and engineering changes.
• Perform supplier risk assessments and implement mitigation plans to minimize quality, delivery, and operational risks.
• Drive defect reduction, yield improvement, cost-of-quality reduction, and supplier quality excellence projects.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to improve supplier performance.
• Prepare and maintain supplier scorecards, audit reports, technical documentation, and management presentations while ensuring compliance with quality management systems.
