Renesas Electronics Corporation is seeking a Supplier Quality engineer to lead KPI setup and ensure supplier lines and quality systems meet VDA6.3 standards for automotive products. You will audit contract manufacturers, drive root-cause corrective actions, and implement new quality methods to enhance overall performance.

The role requires strong English skills and 10+ years in foundry PIE/Module or quality functions, with experience in supplier processes and site certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years experience in foundry PIE/Module or Quality function.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilités

• Manage quality excursions and drive for effective root cause solutions and preventive actions.
• Support supplier process/material change processes and site certification audit activities.
• Assist in establishing and installing best-known practices for supplier quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality events or returns don’t affect customer requirements.
• Drive CIP towards better quality, cost, and cycle time.
• Host MRB with cross-functional teams to finalize product disposition.

Job Description

Job summary :

• Supplier Quality KPI setup and drive supplier to meet Renesas expectation.
• Audit and evaluate contract manufacture’s production lines and quality system for product readiness and verify compliance VDA6.3 standards from Auto product
• Identify opportunity for quality control enhancement and implement new methods accordingly

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage quality excursions and drive for effective root cause solutions and preventive actions
2. Support Supplier process/material change process and site certification audit activities
3. Perform Supplier Quality assistance in the creation, establishment and installation of best-known practices.
4. Customer obsessed: Partner with cross functional team to ensure quality event or unit return doesn’t impact customer requirement
5. Drive CIP towards better Quality/Cost/Cycle time…etc
6. Host MRB with cross functional team to finalize product disposition

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree holder in electrical, Physics, Chemistry, materials science or related field.
2. 10+ experience in foundry PIE/Module or Quality function team
3. Fluent in English

Bonus points

1. ISO9001 / IATF16949 certification and VDA6.3 training evidence.
2. Familiar BCD or JETFET process.
