Tan Tock Seng Hospital is seeking a Manager to lead, develop, and implement strategic plans for Total Workplace Safety and Health (TWSH). The role provides operational oversight to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for the hospital workforce, reporting to the Assistant Director/Director of Operations.

The incumbent will manage resources, drive continuous improvement of TWSH programmes, chair the WSH Council and OH Committee, and participate in emergency planning exercises as required.

Qualifikationen

• Good Bachelor’s degree and above.
• At least 7-10 years of relevant working experience and supervisory experience.
• Experience in a public hospital and knowledge of hospital operations preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with analytical, meticulous, process-oriented approach.
• Proven leadership and ability to drive teams to ambitious goals.
• Excellent organizational, coordination and project management skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans for the hospital’s safety and health programmes.
• Oversee resource allocation (manpower and finances) to meet objectives.
• Develop and implement the TWSH framework with focus on Occupational Health.
• Chair the WSH Council and OH Committee Secretariat.
• Plan and execute new TWSH projects from concept to delivery.
• Evaluate programme effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead hospital projects and participate in emergency planning/exercises.
• Assist in other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer.

Reporting to the Assistant Director/Director of Operations, the Manager will assist to lead, develop, and implement strategic plans, and provide operational oversight of the hospital’s Total Workplace Safety and Health (TWSH) management system, to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for the hospital workforce.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with the Assistant Director/Director to achieve the department or hospital’s goals effectively and efficiently by identifying in identifying, monitoring, communicating and reviewing the Department’s performance/outcome indicators.
• Plan and review the resource (i.e. manpower and financial) allocation strategically to meet competing objectives.
• Develop and Implement the TWSH Framework, with a stronger focus on Occupational Health.
• Lead the Secretariat for Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Council and Occupational Health (OH) Committee.
• Oversee the planning and implementation of new TWSH projects or programmes, from conceptualisation to execution.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of TWSH programmes and drive continuous improvement in the programme to ensure overall objectives are met.
• Lead and undertake any hospital projects assigned.
• Participate in emergency planning exercise and render support in any hospital emergency or incidents when required.
• Assist to carry out any other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer.

Job Requirements

• Good Bachelor’s degree and above.
• At least 7-10 years of relevant working experience and supervisory experience.
• Work experience within a public hospital and knowledge of hospital operations would be preferred.
• Good communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
• Critical and strategic thinker who is analytical, meticulous, process-oriented and capable of translating organisational goals into actionable strategies and plans.
• Good leadership skills, with track records of leading teams to achieve ambitious goals and objectives.
• Good organizational, coordination and project management skills.
• Ability to exercise initiative, manage pressure, multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment. MOM Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) would be an advantage.
