Job summary

The Institute of Mental Health (IMH) in Singapore seeks a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager to support clinical operations and administrative functions within the Clinical Operations Department.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective delivery of services, monitor performance, and drive process improvements across programmes and policies in a premier psychiatric hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree required; fields include Business Administration, Healthcare Management or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in operations, administration, project management or data analysis.
• Healthcare sector experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support development, implementation and evaluation of clinical services and programmes.
• Ensure services comply with standards, policies and procedures.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare performance reports for management decisions.
• Analyse operational data, identify trends and propose improvements.
• Develop proposals, reports and materials for management and stakeholders.
• Review policies and workflows to improve efficiency and patient care.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary projects and initiatives.
• Provide secretariat support to committees and action follow-up.
• Undertake other clinical operations and admin duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the development, implementation and evaluation of clinical services and programmes.
• Ensure that services and programmes comply with established operational standards, policies and procedures.
• Monitor key performance indicators and prepare performance reports to support management decision-making.
• Analyse operational data, identify trends and recommend opportunities for service improvement.
• Develop proposals, reports and presentation materials for management and key stakeholders.
• Conduct periodic reviews of existing policies, procedures and workflows to improve service efficiency, quality and patient care.
• Coordinate projects and initiatives involving multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Provide secretariat support to assigned committees, including preparing meeting materials, documenting discussions and following up on action items.
• Undertake other clinical operations and administrative responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• A recognised degree, preferably in Business Administration, Business Management, Engineering, Healthcare Management or a related discipline.
• At least two years of relevant experience in operations, administration, project management or data analysis.
• Experience in the healthcare sector will be an advantage.
