Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a maintenance engineer to safeguard equipment readiness on a 200mm etch platform. You will execute preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and drive reliability improvements on the production floor.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 4 years of relevant experience, with a strong focus on safety and teamwork within a high-tech manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do

• Maintain and support equipment readiness in capacity of an individual contributor (as directed and/or independently)
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting of 200mm etch equipment
• Execute maintenance and tool support ensuring equipment readiness
• Troubleshoot and upgrade of equipment ensuring minimize downtime
• Analyze and monitor technical charts
• Drive equipment improvement plans and projects
• Ensure and follow good safety practices and custody of tools, equipment and other properties
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements
• Work and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or any relevant field
• At least 4 years of relevant experience
• Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems
• Exposure or Hands-on skills in Preventive Maintenance/Corrective Maintenance/troubleshooting
