Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking an Equipment Engineer to maintain and support equipment readiness in our Singapore fab. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and support tool activities to minimize downtime and improve reliability.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 1 year of experience in equipment engineering, preferably in wafer fabrication or electronics. Shift work (normal/swing) is expected, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in equipment engineering, preferably in a wafer fab / Electronics / Electrical industry.
• Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems.
• Perform Normal / Swing Shift

We are expanding our fab operations and are looking for equipment engineers. In this role you will maintain and support equipment readiness. You will also play a part in driving equipment improvement plans and projects.

What You Will Do

• Maintain and support equipment readiness
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting of equipment
• Execute maintenance and tool support ensuring equipment readiness
• Troubleshoot and upgrade of equipment ensuring minimize downtime
