Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Singapore seeks an engineering professional to maintain and support equipment readiness in a wafer fabrication environment as an individual contributor. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on complex tooling and help minimize downtime through troubleshooting and upgrades.

The role requires a Bachelor degree in Engineering and hands-on experience with equipment maintenance, with preference for Axcelis GSD/VHE knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical or related field.
• Preferred to have 3+ years’ experience with Axcelis GSD/VHE.
• Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems.
• Experience in manufacturing equipment engineering or wafer fab/clean room preferred.
• Exposure to preventive maintenance/corrective maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment (Implanter hazards – HV, gases, radiation).
• Execute maintenance and tool support to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and upgrade equipment to improve uptime.
• Analyze and monitor technical charts.
• Drive equipment improvement plans and projects.
• Ensure safety practices and custody of tools and properties.
• Collaborate on other projects as needed.

What You Will Do

• Maintain and support equipment readiness in capacity of an individual contributor
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting of equipment (Implanter hazards – High Voltage, toxic gases, radiation)
• Execute maintenance and tool support ensuring equipment readiness
• Troubleshoot and upgrade of equipment ensuring minimize downtime
• Analyze and monitor technical charts
• Drive equipment improvement plans and projects
• Ensure and follow good safety practices and custody of tools, equipment and other properties
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements
• Work and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed

What You Will Need

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or any relevant field
• Preferred to have more than 3 years’ experience on Axcelis GSD/VHE knowledge
• Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems
• Profiles with specialization in manufacturing, or relevant working experience or internship experience in equipment engineering/wafer fab/clean room are preferred
• Exposure or Hands-on skills in Preventive Maintenance/Corrective Maintenance/troubleshooting
