Job summary

Amplify Health Asia Pte. Limited in Singapore is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, test, and evolve secure, scalable backend capabilities for Core Claims.

You will own product features end-to-end with Java and the Spring ecosystem, delivering robust APIs, integration services, and data flows for multiple markets. You will collaborate with Product Managers, QA, and Platform/DevOps to ensure performance, reliability, and production readiness, while shaping reusable backend

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend focus.
• Strong hands-on Java and Spring ecosystem expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and evolve secure, scalable backend capabilities using Java and Spring.
• Own medium-to-complex product deliverables from design to release and validation.
• Build scalable microservices, RESTful APIs, and integration layers with OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and production readiness with CI/CD and observability.
