Job summary

Seagate Technology in Singapore seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of technicians in the media factory, focusing on thin film sputtering. You will ensure equipment reliability, oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The role requires a Diploma or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering (or related) with at least 3 years in media manufacturing or vacuum environments, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Team player with good problem-solving and managing skill.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and computer programs.
• Willing to do fixed normal shift in cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians critical to the media factory production and sputtering process.
• Maintain sputter equipment to meet company standards and minimize downtime (PM and unplanned).
• Maintain safety matrices and ensure compliance with audits.
• Administer training programs for equipment operation, preventive maintenance, repair and procedures.
• Supervise spare parts and inventory controls.
• Provide technical supervision of Engineering and Manufacturing Specialists, ensuring quality, safety, cost and policy adherence.
• Monitor process steps, variables, and controls; drive cost reductions and reporting systems.
• Support production planning by scheduling personnel and prioritizing work.
• Create/update operating practices and reports, and drive continuous improvement.
