Job summary

The role requires a technical background in mechanical/electrical/mechatronic engineering and at least three years in media manufacturing or vacuum maintenance, with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering or related Engineering Diploma or ITE.
• Min 3 years of technical experience in media manufacturing/thin film/vacuum maintenance or engineering.
• Team player with good problem-solving and management skills.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians and Manufacturing Specialists to fulfill area job scopes according to requirements.
• Oversee inventory management for consumables/spares used in sub-assemblies.
• Maintain data accuracy of tracking systems for offline sub-assemblies’ services.
• Manage employee trainings, identify needs, plan, and keep records.
• Ensure compliance with Seagate EHS policies and procedures to keep the workplace safe and clean.
• Collaborate with HR/EHS on administrative and people management matters.
