Job summary

Seagate Technology in Singapore is seeking a hands-on assembler for sputtering equipment who can read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams. You will assemble and install vacuum systems, pumps, valves, and control panels, then perform quality checks in a cleanroom environment.

You will work with engineering teams on builds and reliability improvements, while adhering to safety standards. Training will be provided, with potential shift rotations including nights and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, detail-oriented and electrically/mechanically inclined.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, align, and integrate mechanical and electrical sub-systems for sputtering equipment per schematics and build instructions.
• Install components such as vacuum chambers, pumps, valves and control panels.
• Perform functional and quality checks during and after installation.
