Job summary

Sport Singapore is seeking a skilled professional to drive infrastructure development for new and upgraded sports facilities. You will plan, review feasibility, conceptualize master plans, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and government agencies to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, governance of procurement processes, and delivery of complex construction programs across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Background in Architecture, Building/Construction Management, Project Management.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in Architecture/Building Industry.
• Experience in government procurement and other financial procedures in public sector projects is advantageous.
• Experience managing 2–3 projects concurrently.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and project leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies for new sports facilities development and redevelopment proposals, including cost estimates and consultation with stakeholders.
• Plan, conceptualize and develop the Sports Facilities Master Plan (SFMP) and Renovation Master Plan to unify sport facility initiatives.
• Support administration, finance, and procurement tasks to enable smooth operation of the Infrastructure Development Team.
• Lead project meetings with user groups, consultants, and stakeholders to drive project outcomes.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders, multi-disciplinary teams, and contractors to resolve technical issues.
• Support selection of consultants/contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare procurement documents and ensure knowledge management of tender materials and timelines.
• Custodian of the master construction schedule and ensure on-site works stay on schedule.
• Review technical drawings for compliance with design specifications and guidelines.
• Identify discrepancies across MEP/structural/interior/architectural provisions.
• Provide secretariat support to project committees.
