Job summary

KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital invites a qualified Speech-Language Therapist to join our pediatric team in Singapore. You will assess, diagnose, and deliver evidence-based interventions to support children’s communication needs, within a multidisciplinary setting.

You will also train and coach caregivers, document progress, and participate in quality improvement activities to uphold high standards of care. AHPC registration eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Therapy (or equivalent) from a recognized institution, accredited under the Ministry of Health Allied Health Professions Act.
• Eligible for registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language and/or communication needs of children.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized and group therapy programs tailored to each child’s needs.
• Administer, score, and interpret specialized assessments to inform therapy planning.
• Collaborate closely with paediatricians, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, educators, and social workers to deliver holistic care.
• Provide caregiver training, coaching, and support in both individual and group settings.
• Document clinical findings, progress, and recommendations clearly and accurately.
• Participate in service improvement, clinical audits, and professional development activities to enhance quality of care.
