Job summary

Ministry of Trade and Industry in Singapore seeks an Industry Strategy Lead to shape and execute strategies for developing Singapore's space industry and promoting space-enabled technologies. You will lead programme development, manage high-level stakeholder relationships, and contribute to planning for MTI's Industry Development team.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in strategy, public policy, industry development, business development, consulting, or relevant technology sectors (e.g. space, aerospace, satellite communications).
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, translate analysis into clear recommendations and execute effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders and manage complex partnerships across government and industry.

Responsibilities

• The role shapes and executes strategies to develop Singapore's space industry and grow adoption of space-enabled technologies.
• Leads programme development, manages complex stakeholder relationships, and contributes to cross‑agency initiatives.
• Develops and implements programmes to attract space companies, connect them with end-users, and strengthen export potential.
• Builds partnerships with multinational corporations, startups, VC firms, research institutions, and industry partners.
• Contributes to cross-functional and cross-agency efforts within MTI's Industry Development team.
