NEXTBEAT SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Blister Copper Trader based in the Central Business District to lead procurement and sales across Southeast Asia.
The role demands deep supplier networks, strong negotiation, and the ability to expand into India and Europe, with frequent travel. Candidates should have a track record trading blister copper or recycled non-ferrous metals and fluency in English and Mandarin.
Qualifications
- Experience trading blister copper or recycled non-ferrous metals.
- Familiarity with Southeast Asian procurement markets (Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam).
- Established supplier/buyer networks in China, India, or Europe (advantage).
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant discipline.
- Strong negotiation, market analysis, and risk management capabilities.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin; additional languages beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Source blister copper processed from recycled materials in Southeast Asia.
- Establish procurement channels for electronic scrap and by-product materials.
- Negotiate with suppliers across Southeast Asia.
- Supply blister copper to smelting and recycling enterprises in China.
- Develop new sales markets in India and Europe.
- Establish direct partnerships with smelters and recycling plants.
