Job summary

Starter Lab in Singapore’s Tai Seng production bakery is seeking passionate Bakers to join a tight-knit artisanal team that crafts the city’s best sourdough daily. You’ll work collaboratively with the Executive Baker to plan and execute daily production, measure ingredients precisely, and shape products by hand with consistency while maintaining cleanliness and workflow.

Ideal candidates bring 1 year of professional baking or 2 years of culinary experience, a positive attitude, and a genuine

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional baking or pastry experience.
• Professional, positive attitude — a can-do spirit!
• Deep passion for baking and genuine curiosity to learn.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Executive Baker and team to plan daily and weekly production.
• Measure and mix ingredients precisely, following recipes to maintain Starter Lab’s signature quality.
• Shape products by hand with care and consistency.
• Practice accuracy in scaling — because precision matters in baking.
• Maintain an eye for detail across all stages of the process: mix, proof, shape, bake.
• Help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and flow of the bakery.
