Carrier Transicold Pte. Ltd. is seeking a procurement professional to manage supplier performance, develop local/global savings opportunities, and support working capital and creditor targets for the site.

You will negotiate vendor contracts, drive cost reductions, ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, and collaborate with engineering on alternative components. Strong negotiation, communication, and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business or Engineering with ≥5 years in sourcing/procurement.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, policy and systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective cross-functional team member with conflict resolution skills.
• Strong negotiation skills and customer-focused/results driven.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for assigned products.
• Negotiate supplier agreements for raw materials within spend value.
• Establish project management discipline for tracking tasks, resources, milestones, and measures.
• Communicate with stakeholders to align objectives and priorities.
• Manage direct and indirect category spend.
• Perform spend and costing analysis.
• Negotiate vendor contracts and optimize supply chain for manufacturing or cooling projects.
• Manage quality control issues, non-conforming parts, and vendor returns.
• Buy eco-friendly or compliant components under local regulations.
• Negotiate volume pricing and payment terms with vendors.
• Perform audit and supplier performance reviews.
• Build backup supplier lists for high-risk materials.
• Resolve invoice disputes and shipment discrepancies.
• Support cost rolling updates.
• Work with engineering to approve alternative component brands.
• Set yearly cost reduction targets for procurement team.
• Update and manage ERP and project records.

PRIMARY FUNCTION

• Manage supplier and their performance to ensure uninterrupted supply and quality
• Create local/regional/global savings opportunities
• Support the delivery of working capital targets and creditor targets for the site
• Ensure control and proper responsibility for expenditure of company funds

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement business procurement strategies for assigned products, consistent with global or local procurement plans
• Negotiate agreements with suppliers for raw materials within the value of spend
• Establish project management discipline for identifying and tracking tasks, resources, milestones and measures for projects
• Communicate with key stakeholders on projects to ensure mutual understanding of objectives and priorities
• Experience in managing direct and indirect category;
• Spend and Costing analysis knowledge
• Stakeholder management (Internal & External)
• Negotiate vendor contracts, reduce material costs, ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, and optimize the supply chain for manufacturing or commercial cooling projects
• Manage quality control issues, non-conforming parts, and vendor returns
• Buy eco-friendly or compliant components, equipment etc under local regulations.
• Negotiate volume pricing and payment terms with vendors.
• Perform Audit and Supplier performance review
• Build backup supplier lists (Alternative source) for high-risk raw materials.
• Resolve invoice disputes and shipment discrepancies (if support from procurement side is required)
• Support and update on the cost rolling
• Work with engineering to approve alternative component brands.
• Set yearly cost reduction targets for the procurement team.
• Update and manage enterprise resource planning (ERP) and project records or RCR
  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Diploma or Degree in Business or Engineering with at least 5 years’ relevant sourcing / procurement experience
• Good understanding of procurement processes, procedures, policy and systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective cross-functional team member with good conflict resolution skills
• Good team player
