Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced ultrasound radiographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance with SOPs, verify patient identity, and ensure high-quality reports. The role includes on-call duties and routine equipment QA, with a focus on patient safety and thorough documentation.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor's or Diploma in Radiography and have at least 2 years of relevant ultrasound experience, with familiarity in PACS systems and clinical recordkeeping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Radiography or equivalent.
• Membership in a professional body is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of diagnostic ultrasound experience.
• Working knowledge of PACS System.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations per SOPs and standards.
• Verify patient identity, ensure safety and obtain consent.
• Ensure accuracy of findings and maintain examination records.
• Promote patient safety and provide care before, during and after exams.
• Participate in on-call and after-hours duties as required.
• Perform routine QA checks on ultrasound equipment.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and professional standards.
• Verify patient identity, comply with relevant safety protocols, and obtain or confirm procedural consent in accordance with established guidelines.
• Ensure the accuracy of ultrasound findings and reports, maintaining complete and properly documented examination records.
• Promote patient safety and provide appropriate care and support to patients before, during and after examinations, taking into account their physical and emotional well-being.
• Participate in on-call and after-hours duties when required, responding promptly in accordance with established service standards.
• Perform routine quality assurance checks on ultrasound equipment in line with manufacturers' recommendations to maintain optimal performance.
• Undertake other relevant duties as assigned by the reporting manager.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Applied Science (Radiography), Diploma in Radiography, or an equivalent qualification.
• Membership in a relevant local or overseas professional body is an advantage, where applicable.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in diagnostic ultrasound or sonography.
• Working knowledge of PACS System.
