Job summary

Farrer Park Hospital provides diagnostic ultrasound services with emphasis on service quality, patient care, efficiency and productivity.

The Senior Sonographer will perform all ultrasound procedures in accordance with SOPs, maintain safety and accuracy in reports, and participate in on-call duties as required to support hospital operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Diploma in Radiography required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant Sonography experience.
• Experience working in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Perform all diagnostic ultrasound services according to SOP.
• Observe safety rules and obtain consent as described in SOP.
• Ensure accuracy in ultrasound reports and proper documentation.
• Ensure patient safety and well-being during and after examination.
• Perform on-call and after-hours duties when necessary.
• Conduct daily QA procedures on equipment per manufacturer's recommendations.
• Perform any other duties as instructed by supervisor.
• Able to perform full body ultrasound including vascular and MSK scans.

The Senior Sonographer will perform diagnostic ultrasound with high level of service quality, patient care, efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Perform all diagnostic ultrasound services according to standards described in SOP.

• Ensure examination is performed to the correct patient and observes safety rule and respective procedural consents described in SOP.

• Ensure accuracy in ultrasound reports and ensure all records are properly documented

• Ensure patients’ safety, physical and emotional well-being is taken care of during and after the examination.

• Perform on-call and after hours duties when necessary, ensure prompt response which is in line with the prescribed standard of the Hospital.

• Perform daily QA procedures on equipment according to manufacturers’ recommendations to ensure optimal performance of these equipment.

• Perform any other duties as instructed by the supervisor.

• Able to do full body ultrasound includingvascular and msk scans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Applied Science (Radiography) or Diploma in Radiography from recognized institutions or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Sonographer

• Has experience working in Singapore.
