Job summary

CHINT Group Co., Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Solutions Manager APAC to design and propose end-to-end electrical power solutions across diverse sectors including data centers, renewables, utilities and industrial in the Asia Pacific region.

You will lead technical design with engineering teams and support sales in complex, non-standard solutions. Based at CHINT's Singapore HQ, you will work closely with Country Sales and Customer Success Engineering to ensure solutions meet customer requirements,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with strong hands-on knowledge of power distribution systems.
• Strong understanding of HV/MV/LV electrical design, protection concepts and solution integration.
• Proven technical problem-solving and structured solutioning ability.
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and own end-to-end electrical solutions for APAC projects with the engineering team (HV/MV/LV power distribution).
• Prepare, review and validate key deliverables including SLDs, technical specifications, and compliance documentation.
• Lead technical discussions, design reviews and stakeholder meetings with end users, developers, EPC contractors, utilities and regulators.
• Represent CHINT as a trusted technical partner in customer engagements across APAC and support sales with proposals and technical responses.
• Collaborate with project delivery teams during execution to ensure safe, reliable delivery per CHINT standards.

Job description

The Solutions Manager (APAC) serves as the regional technical solutions specialist, responsible for designing, proposing, and supporting end-to-end electrical power solutions across strategic segments in the Asia Pacific region.

This role works closely with Country Sales and Customer Success Engineering teams, to deliver complex, strategic, and non-standard solutions in different segments (Data Centers, Renewables, Utilities, Industrial etc). The Solutions Manager ensures CHINT solutions meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and competitive technical positioning across APAC markets.

Success in this role is measured by the ability to translate solutions into customer confidence, project awards, and commercial order conversion.

The role is full-time position, based in Singapore Headquarters

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Technical Ownership

• Design and own end-to-end electrical solutions together with engineering team for APAC projects across HV/MV/LV power distribution systems, ensuring alignment with regional and local standards.
• Prepare, review, and validate key engineering deliverables, including:
  • 1 Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
  • 2 Technical specifications
  • 3 Compliance documentation and system assumptions
• Lead technical discussions, clarification meetings, and design reviews with key stakeholders, including: End users and developers, Consulting engineers, EPC contractors, Utilities and regulators
• Represent CHINT as a trusted technical partner in customer engagements across APAC.
• Support country sales teams through strong technical leadership in:
  • 1 Proposal development and compliance responses
  • 2 Technical queries (TQs) and bid clarifications
  • 3 Technical assumptions supporting pricing and commercial evaluation
• Strengthen CHINT’s value proposition through differentiated, solution-based engineering support.

Project Execution Support

• Partner with project delivery teams during execution phases, including:
  • 1 Design finalization and approvals
  • 3 Commissioning support and technical issue resolution
• Ensure solutions are delivered safely, reliably, and according to customer and CHINT quality requirements.

Market & Product Feedback Loop

• Maintain strong awareness of evolving customer requirements, local standards, and competitive landscape across APAC markets.
• Identify product gaps and solution needs to support:
  • 3 Future-ready solution roadmaps

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with minimum 5 years of relevant experience with strong hands-on knowledge of power distribution systems.
• Strong understanding of HV/MV/LV electrical system design, protection concepts, and solution integration.
• Proven technical problem-solving and structured solutioning ability.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to manage priorities across multiple projects, countries, and customer interfaces.
• Self-driven, accountable, and capable of planning and delivering work independently in a regional role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with AutoCAD or related electrical/project design is an advantage.
• Familiarity with IEC standards and regional compliance frameworks is highly valued.
