Job summary

KONE is seeking a CSE Engineer, Solution to provide technical expertise for the sales team and align solutions with customer needs. You will be involved in early engagement, ensuring that KONE offerings are included in customer specifications and participating in meetings to address technical questions.

Responsibilities include solution costing, specification coordination, energy calculations, and ensuring compliance with local codes and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to translate customer needs into technical specifications.
• Experience with non-standard and modernisation projects.

Responsibilities

• Find optimal technical solutions to meet customer needs.
• Clarify solution scope including KONE and third-party offerings.
• Participate in customer meetings and answer technical questions.
• Select correct product platform for the offering.
• Propose solutions across KONE business lines (e.g., escalators, elevators, doors).
• Coordinate solution costing with APF, corporate/local materials, and service costs.
• Ensure solution installability and maintainability within costs.
