MHA - Internal Security Department (ISD) is seeking a Solutions Engineer to enhance operational capabilities through digital transformation. This role involves collaborating with IT Security consultants and stakeholders to deliver projects that meet business needs within budget and time constraints.
Candidates should possess effective project management skills, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to quantitatively assess operational requirements. Professional certifications are an advantage, however, applicants with no experience are also welcome. Singaporeans are encouraged to apply.
ISD confronts and addresses threats to Singapore’s internal security and stability. For over 75 years, ISD and its predecessor organisations have played a central role in countering threats such as those posed by foreign subversive elements, spies, racial and religious extremists, and terrorists. As a Solutions Engineer, you will be part of the Capabilities Solution Engineering group that provides leading edge technological solution through digital transformation to enhance our users’ operational capabilities. The job requires you to understand the business processes of our stakeholders and recommend new initiatives. You are required to conceptualise, design, procure, implement and deploy the initiatives.
You will work in a team with IT Security consultants, Infrastructure Engineers and End Users to ensure the projects are delivered on time, within budget, meet business requirements and comply with IT governance framework. Strong project management experience coupled with managing users’ expectation and vendor management will be an essential skillset for success.
