Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science with specialization in software engineering or similar.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT architecture and software development.
• Experience with modularity, event-driven, and microservices design patterns.
• Proficient in Java, .NET Core, Springboot, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and OpenSearch.
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies and CSP services.
• Familiar with Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a strategic, tech-savvy and customer-centric Solution Architect to join our team. This role is responsible for leading the technological solution development from initiation through implementation. You'll play a key role in collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop the solution architecture to meet business needs while ensuring adherence to the overarching enterprise architecture blueprint.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES (JOB REQUIREMENTS)

• 1Enterprise Architecture Governance & Strategy
• 2Align the development of RWS IT landscape according to the set-out IT architectural principles and standards across the RWS organization
• 3Participate in the forming up and execution of various RWS IT strategies
• 4Participate in architecture reviews for new systems or changes to existing systems
• 1Solution Design & Architecture
• 2Explore and evaluate technologies & solutions in pursuance of the RWS digital transformation journey
• 3Drive the RWS Business Services Platform initiative across the different lines of business
• 4Support proof-of-value initiatives to meet business and IT needs
• 5Provide technical leadership to project teams in areas of solution design and application development
• 6Perform technical design reviews and ensure enterprise-wide architectural standards are adhered to
• 1Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
• 2Engage stakeholders (i.e. project teams and business units) to ensure solution architecture is aligned with business functional and non-functional requirements
• 3Foster strong partnerships across departments, including various customer facing business units, and operations, to support solution implementation success

JOB REQUIREMENTS/JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in computer science with a specialization in software engineering, application development, or similar
• Technology enthusiast with a minimum of 10 years working experience in the fields of IT architecture and software development
• Avid practitioner of system architecture design patterns such as modularity designs, event-driven architectures, and microservices architectures
• Highly proficient in development platforms/frameworks/tooling such as Java, .NET Core, Springboot, Kubernetes, Jenkins and OpenSearch
• Good knowledge in Cloud technologies; X-as-a-Service from different Cloud Services Providers (CSP)
• Familiar with project delivery methodologies (i.e. Waterfall, Agile/Scrum)
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
