Job summary

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein) seeks an experienced IT Architect to lead enterprise architecture governance and strategy. You will align IT landscape with architectural principles, participate in strategy execution, and drive solution design across lines of business.

You will evaluate technologies for digital transformation, lead architecture reviews, and engage stakeholders to ensure architecture meets business and non-functional requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 10+ years in IT architecture and software development.
• Experience with modular, event-driven, and microservices patterns.
• Strong knowledge of cloud services and architectures.
• Familiar with Waterfall and Agile/Scrum delivery.

Responsibilities

• Enterprise Architecture Governance & Strategy
• Align the development of IT landscape according to the set-out IT architectural principles and standards across the organization
• Participate in the forming up and execution of various IT strategies
• Participate in architecture reviews for new systems or changes to existing systems
• Solution Design & Architecture
• Explore and evaluate technologies & solutions in pursuance of the digital transformation journey
• Drive the Business Services Platform initiative across the different lines of business
• Support proof-of-value initiatives to meet business and IT needs
• Provide technical leadership to project teams in areas of solution design and application development
• Perform technical design reviews and ensure enterprise-wide architectural standards are adhered to
• Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
• Engage stakeholders (i.e. project teams and business units) to ensure solution architecture is aligned with business functional and non-functional requirements
• Foster strong partnerships across departments, including various customer facing business units, and operations, to support solution implementation success

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science with a specialization in software engineering, application development, or similar
• Technology enthusiast with a minimum of 10 years working experience in the fields of IT architecture and software development
• Avid practitioner of system architecture design patterns such as modularity designs, event-driven architectures, and microservices architectures
• Highly proficient in development platforms/frameworks/tooling such as Java, .NET Core, Springboot, Kubernetes, Jenkins and OpenSearch
• Good knowledge in Cloud technologies; X-as-a-Service from different Cloud Services Providers (CSP)
• Familiar with project delivery methodologies (i.e. Waterfall, Agile/Scrum)
