Job summary

STARTIN POINT PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated QA tester to analyse requirements, design test scenarios, and execute tests across the software lifecycle. You will prepare data sets, run test plans, and identify bugs to ensure quality deliverables.

The ideal candidate has strong English communication, can work independently, and collaborates closely with Developers and Project Delivery teams to resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate requirements into test scenarios.
• Experience in test case design and data preparation to ensure coverage.
• Fresh grads are welcome; 1–3 years of professional software testing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze relevant documents to understand requirements.
• Identify required test scenarios, prepare test cases and test data for coverage.
• Execute test cases and test plans throughout the software lifecycle to support QA activities.
• Find bugs through systematic and ad-hoc testing and troubleshoot issues.

• Ability to analyse relevant documents to obtain an understanding of the requirements.
• Identifying the required test scenarios, test case preparation, and test data preparation to ensure sufficient test coverage.
• Execute test cases and test plans to support the quality assurance activities throughout the software lifecycle.
• Finding bugs through systematic and/or ad-hoc testing and troubleshooting.
• Must have the ability to escape issues in a timely manner.
• Understand problems from the customer's perspective.
• Willingness to learn new technologies, approaches, and test tools.
• Able to work independently and be a Team Player with good interaction skills.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle Process (SDLC) and QA methodology.
• Knowledge and experience in analyzing Software Requirement Specifications and identifying the required test scenarios.
• Knowledge in J2EE Application Development, Database Technologies, Web Development, WebServices, Spring and Hibernate Framwork, React-Native Framework, ... etc.
• Work closely with Development and Project Delivery Team
• Able to manage time efficiently.
• Good command of English (spoken & written)
• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
• 1 to 3 years’ solid experience on professional software testing experience is a plus. Fresh Grads are welcome to apply.
