Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific PTE. LTD. is seeking a Software Quality Engineer to support UAT of functional systems and verify data migration during a system implementation.

The role emphasizes testing, data validation, and collaboration across teams to ensure quality before go-live. You will design and execute test plans, create test data, and follow SOPs while logging and tracking issues to timely resolution. Strong Excel data validation skills and experience across web, mobile, and API testing are

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in Software Quality Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience across SDLC with test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Knowledge of test automation approaches and risk-based testing.
• Hands-on manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and API apps.
• Familiarity with cross-browser, cross-platform, and responsive UI testing.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Proficient in Excel for data validation and migration checks.
• Desirable CSTP/CSQA certification.

Responsibilities

• Read functional specs, create and extend test scenarios to improve coverage.
• Prepare test data via generation or migrated/dummy data.
• Follow UAT SOPs and testing strategies; log and manage issues.
• Track issues to closure and monitor resolutions.
• Execute tests using automated tools when required.
• Validate migrated data via Excel comparisons or UI checks.
• Support end-to-end integration testing and data migration activities.
