Job summary

GovTech is seeking a hands-on Software Quality Engineer to join a cross-functional Agile team supporting a large-scale national project within the education sector. You will work with developers, UX/UI designers, Product Owners and Analysts to ensure high standards of product quality across web and mobile apps.

Responsibilities include driving QA practices, designing test plans, automated test suites, CI/CD integration, and validating features against acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering or a related role.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools/frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, Appium).
• Experience with web and mobile testing across iOS/Android and web platforms.

Responsibilities

• Champion and drive Quality Engineering practices within an Agile development environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure products meet requirements and quality standards.
• Validate features against acceptance criteria and define test plans.
• Design, implement, and maintain test environments, frameworks, and regression suites.
• Identify gaps in test coverage and improve CI/CD pipelines.
