Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd is seeking a Software Quality Engineer to join our Co-Development Business Unit in Singapore for a 12-month fixed-term contract with GovTech projects. You will drive end-to-end quality across React.js frontends and NestJS backends, focusing on functional automation and regression testing.

You will write and maintain Playwright tests, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, and manage test environments.

Qualifications

• Experience testing large, high-availability systems.
• Frontend: React.js; Backend: NestJS.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills for automated regression tests.
• Hands-on Playwright for E2E web and API testing.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional team to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria.
• Write, maintain, and execute regression test suites using Playwright (JS/TS) for React frontends and NestJS backends.
• Build and integrate automated Playwright tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) for fast feedback.
• Manage test environments, containerized testing setups, and database state for test execution.
• Work with government agencies to deliver reliable, secure software systems.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and quality engineering solutioning sessions.
