Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd, Singapore, is seeking a QA Engineer with automation-first focus to own testing strategy, automated regression testing, API testing and UAT support for our cloud-based platform. You will build and maintain automation suites and help ensure production readiness through rigorous release validation.

With 3–4 years of QA experience, you will design end-to-end QA frameworks, integrate testing tools with CI/CD, and contribute to continuous delivery in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 3–4 years of QA experience with strong hands-on automation testing.
• QA framework setup: design and implement end-to-end automation frameworks; integrate tools with CI/CD and test reporting.
• Automation tools: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or equivalent.
• API testing: Postman, Newman, REST Assured or equivalent.
• Test design: create functional, regression, integration and negative test cases.
• Database validation: basic SQL queries for test data validation.
• CI/CD: run automated tests in CI/CD and read test reports.
• Agile testing: test continuously within Agile sprints.
• Security testing support: authentication, authorization, access control, input validation, security regression.
• Defect management: use defect tracking and test management tools.

Responsibilities

• Own testing strategy, automated regression testing, API testing, functional testing, UAT support and release QA for the cloud platform.
• Automation-first role to ensure workflows, processes, logic, dashboards, access controls and integrations are tested throughout Agile delivery.
• Prepare test strategy, plans, scenarios, test cases, data and regression packs.
• Build and maintain automated regression suites for key user journeys.
• Prepare UAT test scenarios and support business users during UAT; verify production readiness.
• Conduct regression, smoke testing and release validation before deployment.

What will you do?

We are looking for a QA Engineer to own the testing strategy, automated regression testing, API testing, functional testing, UAT support and release quality assurance for the cloud-based digital platform.

• The role is automation-first and is responsible for ensuring workflows, processes, logic, dashboards, access controls and integrations are tested continuously throughout Agile delivery

Requirements

What are we looking for?

• Experience: At least 3-4 years of QA experience, with strong hands-on automation testing experience.
• QA Framework Setup: Hands-on experience designing and implementing end-to-end QA automation frameworks, integrating automated testing tools with CI/CD pipelines test reporting platforms, and automated quality gates.
• Automation Tools: Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or equivalent.
• API Testing: Strong experience with Postman, Newman, REST Assured or equivalent.
• Test Design: Ability to design clear and comprehensive functional, regression, integration and negative test cases.
• Database Validation: Ability to perform basic SQL queries for test data validation.
• CI/CD: Familiarity with running automated tests in CI/CD pipelines and interpreting test reports.
• Agile Testing: Experience testing continuously within Agile sprint delivery.
• Security Testing Support: Understanding of authentication testing, authorisation testing, access control validation, input validation and security regression testing.
• Defect Management: Experience with defect tracking tools and test management tools
