Job summary

IPOS International invites motivated students to join as a Software Engineering Intern in Singapore. You will contribute to building and enhancing a public-facing platform, applying secure coding practices, and supporting API integration and data tasks.

The role offers hands-on experience across development, testing, CI/CD, cloud deployments, and cybersecurity awareness, working with product managers and engineers in an agile setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related.
• Interest in software engineering and technology innovation.
• Basic proficiency in Java; exposure to JavaScript or Python is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Git (GitHub/GitLab) advantageous.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, APIs, web development, or databases beneficial.
• Curious mindset and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development, testing, and enhancement of platform features.
• Apply secure-by-design principles and secure coding practices.
• Translate product requirements into technical tasks.
• Participate in coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Assist with API integration, data processing, and system configuration.
• Prepare technical documentation and development artefacts.
• Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
• Assist in preparing and executing test cases.
• Support UAT and defect tracking.
• Investigate, reproduce, document system issues.
• Review system logs and help resolve issues.
