Job summary

Thales Singapore invites a Software Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. You will work on security solutions for Homeland Security, Smart Cities and critical infrastructures, gaining hands-on experience across SDLC on a government project.

You will contribute to design, development and testing using Java, Spring Boot, .NET, Go, HTML5/CSS, TypeScript and Angular, with exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, MQ and Apache Kafka. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Relevant knowledge and experience in software/web development.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, .NET and Go is good-to-have; proficiency in HTML5/CSS, TypeScript, Angular is good-to-have.
• Experience with test automation tools and CI/CD is a plus.
• Familiarity with virtualization and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Join project team to build innovative Security solutions for Homeland Security, Smart Cities and Critical Infrastructures.
• Contribute to the technical design, coding, and testing for modules in the solution.
• Provide strong and timely support to IVVQ team and site deployment.
• Gain SDLC experience on a major government project.
• Work with latest software/web/mobile technology stacks.
