Job summary

NETS in Singapore is seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Intern to join the Security Architecture & Engineering function under the CISO. This internship offers hands-on experience in protecting enterprise systems, networks, and data from cyber threats, while exposing key stakeholders involved in maintaining and managing organization security controls.

Qualifications

Pursuing Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with strong interest in cybersecurity.
Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and network protocols is required.
Proficiency in scripting and data analysis tools is preferred.
Able to use Excel for dashboards and data visualization.

Responsibilities

Document architecture decisions, security design patterns, and engineering standards.
Develop and maintain Excel dashboards tracking security KPIs.
Research emerging threats and suggest mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with senior engineers on secure network architectures.
Evaluate new security tools and prepare comparison reports.
Shadow engineers during security assessments and planning.
Assist automation by scripting to streamline security tasks.
Create technical docs, diagrams, and presentations for stakeholders.
