Job summary

Unknown Bank (Singapore) is seeking a Software Engineer (UI) at AVP level to design, develop, and test front-end applications for wealth management and private banking. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable UI components, ensuring accessibility and UI consistency.

The role emphasizes strong React.js, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 expertise, RESTful API integration, and familiarity with DevOps/CI‑CD practices.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of front-end development experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and related UI tech;
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous requests.
• Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Ansible.
• Experience with Agile development and Git version control.
• Nice-to-have: Micro Frontends (Qiankun) and Material-UI.
• Experience with microservices and backend tech (Java, Spring Boot) or Full-Stack role.

• Design, develop, and test software applications for wealth management and private banking using various programming languages and technologies.

Who you are

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in front‑end development, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
• Highly proficient in React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and other UI‑related technologies; familiar with React testing libraries.
• Skilled in RESTful API integration and asynchronous request handling.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Ansible.
• Experienced in Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
• Advantageous (optional):
• Understanding of Micro Frontends (MFE) frameworks such as Qiankun.
• Knowledge of Material-UI or similar component libraries.
• Experience with microservices and backend technologies (Java, Spring Boot, and databases) or as a Full-Stack Developer.
• Enjoys tackling challenging problems and turning them into innovative, practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
