Job summary

the company Group Wealth is hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer to build microservices in Java and deliver modern frontend apps with ReactJS for wealth and trading workflows.

You will collaborate across disciplines, own significant components through the full development lifecycle, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced financial environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on enterprise Java/J2EE software engineering.
• Proven Agile delivery and full SDLC experience.
• Strong microservices design/deployment using Spring ecosystem.
• RESTful APIs design and standards (JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI, XML).
• Frontend proficiency with ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Messaging/event systems knowledge (MQ, Kafka).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Liquibase).
• Strong debugging, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shape requirements with Product Owners and business users into scalable tech solutions.
• Design and develop microservices using Java Spring technologies.
• Build responsive frontend applications with ReactJS and modern JavaScript.
• Collaborate with UI/UX, QA, BAs, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners.
• Deliver enhancements across wealth/trading workflows in a microservices setup.
• Debug, troubleshoot and provide production support for critical apps.
• Implement automated testing and CI/CD to improve quality and release velocity.
• Contribute to engineering excellence via code reviews and standards adherence.

What you do

• Partner with Product Owners, business users, and SMEs to shape requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and develop microservices using Java technologies (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Batch).
• Build and enhance responsive, high-usable frontend applications using ReactJS and modern JavaScript.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, software engineers, QA engineers, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners.
• Deliver enhancements across wealth/trading application workflows in a microservices architecture.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and provide production support for business-critical applications.
• Implement automated testing and CI/CD practices to improve software quality and release efficiency.
• Contribute to engineering excellence through code reviews, standards adoption, and occasional pair programming.
• Proactively improve system performance, reliability, maintainability, and developer productivity.

Who you are

Must-have

• 10+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience in enterprise Java/J2EE applications.
• Proven experience in Agile delivery and full SDLC execution.
• Strong hands‑on experience building and deploying microservices using Spring ecosystem technologies.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and related standards (JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI, XML).
• Hands‑on frontend experience with ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
• Experience with React workflows/state management (e.g., Redux).
• Experience with containerisation/orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with messaging/event-driven systems (MQ, Kafka).
• Familiarity with engineering and DevOps toolchain (Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Liquibase).
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.

Preferred

• Experience in wealth management, capital markets, and order management systems.
• Domain exposure to products such as OTC, Bonds, Cash Equities, Funds, IPO, Loans, and Deposits.
• Experience supporting front‑to‑back integration in investment/trading platforms.
