Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking a senior full stack engineer to own end-to-end development, spanning frontend, backend, and cloud. You will build responsive web apps using ReactJS and NodeJS, deploy via CI/CD, and ensure security and observability across services.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, a computer science degree, and hands-on cloud expertise (AWS). Hybrid work from Central Singapore is available with a competitive package including AWS bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of full stack engineering experience.
• Proficiency with ReactJS, NodeJS, AWS and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of end-to-end application development, integrating frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure.
• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible, and performant web applications.
• Implement modern frontend architectures, ensuring reusability, scalability, and security.
• Develop high-performance backend services and APIs, ensuring reliability, security, and observability.
• Work with QA engineers to ensure automated test coverage and fix bugs.
• Optimize full-stack CI/CD deployment strategies and automate releases.
• Collaborate with DevOps to automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and cloud deployments.
• Ensure full-stack security including authentication, authorization, API security, and frontend security best practices.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to improve performance and developer productivity.

Job description

Working Hours: Monday – Thursday (8.30am – 6pm), Friday (8.30am – 5.30pm) (Hybrid working arrangement)
Working Location: Central
Salary Package: Up to $9.5k + AWS
Employment Type: Contract (renewable)

Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of end-to-end application development, integrating frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure.
• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible, and performant web applications.

• Work with Quality Assurance (QA) engineers to ensure automated test coverage and proactively fix bugs and defects.
• Optimize full-stack CI/CD deployment strategies, ensuring seamless and automated releases.
• Work with DevOps teams to automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and cloud deployments.
• Ensure full-stack security, including authentication, authorization, API security, and frontend security best practices.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to improve application performance and developer productivity.
