Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable backend services, APIs and modern web applications. You will build frontend apps with React/Next.js/Vue/Angular, develop RESTful/GraphQL APIs and microservices, work with SQL/NoSQL databases, and ensure security, reliability and compliance in a hybrid Jurong/Thomson environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Min. 4 years of working experience in software engineering or full stack development.
• Proficiency in one or more backend technologies such as Java, Kotlin, Python, Node.js/TypeScript, Go or C#.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue or Angular.
• Experience developing APIs and working with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Good understanding of microservices, distributed systems and system integrations.
• Familiarity with Git, automated testing, Docker, cloud deployment and CI/CD practices.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, problem-solving and communication skills.
