Job summary

Seoulstart is hiring a Software Engineer, Quality in Singapore to help build and sustain automated testing for large-scale backend systems. You will focus on API testing, E2E automation, contract testing, and data management within regulated financial domains.

You will collaborate with developers, security, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases and robust test coverage for payment-related services.

Qualifications

• SDET experience with strong programming and a track record building test frameworks.
• Experience testing large-scale distributed backends, REST APIs, messaging and integrations.
• Hands-on API and E2E automation, CI/CD, contract testing and test data management.
• Exposure to risk, fraud, payments, compliance or other regulated financial domains.
• Experience testing systems with jurisdiction or region-specific behavior.
• Familiarity with contract testing tools such as Pact and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tests for distributed backend services.
• Design and execute API and end-to-end tests across microservices.
• Implement contract tests and CI/CD integrations to ensure quality.
• Work with product and security teams on regulatory and payment flows.
