HeyMax is building the rails that turn everyday spend into travel rewards. We ship features end-to-end, from partner integrations to user-facing earn and redeem flows, in a fast, iterative cycle.

As a backend-leaning full-stack engineer, you’ll own features from idea to live product, work with a small team, and focus on robust APIs, reliable webhooks, and clear documentation to support scale into new markets.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years building backend-leaning full-stack software.
• Comfortable with REST APIs and webhooks; OAuth is a plus.
• Strong ownership and end-to-end delivery focus.
• User-centric mindset with attention to UX implications.
• Data skills a plus for product analytics.
• Clear, low-ego communicator.

Responsibilities

• Ship features across the stack from partner integrations to user flows.
• Take features from first commit to live, including design, build, test, launch.
• Maintain clean APIs, reliable webhooks, and clear developer docs.
• Collaborate with product, design, and commercial teams.

The Role

You'll build products, end to end — shipping features that drive how people earn, redeem, and how HeyMax grows into new markets. From partner integrations to the flows users touch, you own what you build: idea to ship, then iterate.

What You'll Do

• Ship features across the stack, from partner APIs to user-facing earn/redeem flows
• Build integrations that bring new partners — and new markets — onto the platform
• Take features from first commit to live: system design, build, test, launch, iterate
• Keep things clean: solid APIs, sane webhooks, docs people can actually follow
• Work directly with product, design, and commercial — small team, tight loops

What We're Looking For

• 2–4 yrs building backend-leaning full-stack software
• Comfortable with REST APIs and webhooks; OAuth a plus
• Strong ownership — you drive things to done without being chased
• You think about the user, not just the endpoint
• Bias to ship — pragmatic over perfect
