Job summary

The role involves designing scalable microservices with Java 17, Kotlin, and Spring Boot, leading full-stack delivery, and mentoring distributed teams. Strong DevOps and AI tool familiarity is expected; CSM certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Applications or related field.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Kotlin, Spring ecosystem (Boot, Core, MVC, Data JPA, Batch).
• Proficiency with databases (Oracle, MariaDB, Sybase, Postgres, DB2) and middleware (Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere).
• Experience with cloud/DevOps tooling: AWS, OpenShift, Docker, Jenkins, GitHub/Bitbucket, SonarQube.
• Certifications such as CSM, Sun Certified Java Developer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable microservices using Java 17, Kotlin, and Spring Boot, leveraging Kafka and concurrent programming to automate trade capture and trade lifecycle management.
• Lead full-stack delivery efforts, integrating front-end frameworks such as Angular/React with backend services.
• Drive Agile ceremonies as a Certified Scrum Master, mentoring globally distributed engineering teams and fostering a culture of psychological safety and continuous delivery.
• Champion modern DevOps practices and incorporate AI development tools into the engineering workflow.
• Provide production support (L3) and ensure release management best practices across enterprise-grade systems.

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Java Technical Lead with 10+ years of experience in global financial organizations to architect and lead development of high-performance, resilient enterprise applications supporting CapitalMarkets(Equity Derivatives Trade Management) and Core Banking (ConsumerBanking,Retail, Credit Cards, Cashline) platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable microservices using Java 17, Kotlin, and Spring Boot, leveraging Kafka and concurrent programming to automate trade capture and trade lifecycle management
• Lead full-stack delivery efforts, integrating front-end frameworks such as Angular/React with backend services
• Drive Agile ceremonies as a Certified Scrum Master, mentoring globally distributed engineering teams and fostering a culture of psychological safety and continuous delivery
• Champion modern DevOps practices and incorporate advanced AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) into the engineering workflow
