With 10+ years of experience, you will champion modern DevOps, apply AI development tools, and oversee production support and release practices for enterprise systems in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Applications or related field.
• Strong hands-on in Java, Kotlin, Spring ecosystem and REST/SOAP.
• Experience with Kafka and messaging systems; familiar with databases and middleware.
• Cloud/DevOps tooling experience: AWS, OpenShift, Docker, Jenkins, Git.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable microservices using Java 17, Kotlin, and Spring Boot.
• Lead full-stack delivery with Angular/React front-ends and backend services.
• Run Agile ceremonies as a Certified Scrum Master and mentor distributed teams.
• Champion DevOps practices and integrate AI tooling into workflow.
• Provide production support (L3) and ensure release management.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Java Technical Lead with 10+ years of experienceinglobal financial organizations to architect and lead developmentofhigh-performance, resilient enterprise applications supporting CapitalMarkets(Equity Derivatives Trade Management) and Core Banking (ConsumerBanking,Retail, Credit Cards, Cashline) platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable microservices using Java 17, Kotlin, and Spring Boot, leveraging Kafka and concurrent programming to automate trade capture and trade lifecycle management
• Lead full-stack delivery efforts, integrating front-end frameworks such as Angular/React with backend services
• Drive Agile ceremonies as a Certified Scrum Master, mentoring globally distributed engineering teams and fostering a culture of psychological safety and continuous delivery
• Champion modern DevOps practices and incorporate advanced AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) into the engineering workflow
• Provide production support (L3) and ensure release management best practices across enterprise-grade systems

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Computer Applications or related field
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Kotlin, Spring ecosystem (Boot, Core, MVC, Data JPA, Batch), REST/SOAP web services, and messaging systems (Kafka, Solace)
• Proficiency with databases (Oracle, MariaDB, Sybase, Postgres, DB2) and middleware (Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere)
• Experience with cloud/DevOps tooling: AWS, OpenShift, Docker, Jenkins, GitHub/Bitbucket, SonarQube
• Certifications such as CSM, Sun Certified Java Developer preferred
