Job summary

SCIENTEC CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced full-stack engineer to design, build and maintain scalable applications and platforms.

You will work across backend and frontend, applying AWS cloud skills and modern frameworks in a hybrid west Singapore setup. The role emphasizes REST/GraphQL, microservices, IaC, CI/CD with GitLab, and strict security and compliance. Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on AWS cloud experience (ECS, Kubernetes, Lambda).
• Backend experience: Kotlin, Java and Spring Boot.
• Frontend experience with Svelte, React or Vue.
• GitLab CI/CD pipelines experience.
• IaC with AWS CDK, Terraform or OpenTofu is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL and microservices.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of authentication, authorisation, encryption and audit logging.
• Experience implementing security and compliance in production environments.

• Experience with frontend frameworks such as Svelte, React or Vue.
• Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably AWS CDK, Terraform or OpenTofu would be advantageous
• Good understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL and microservices architecture.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of authentication, authorisation, encryption and audit logging.
• Experience implementing security and compliance requirements in production environments.
• Experience with system integration and event-driven architecture.
• Ability to translate architectural designs and business requirements into practical technical solutions.
