Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Singapore is seeking a Software Engineer II within the Corporate and Investment Banking - Kinexys.

You will join an agile team to design, develop, test, and deliver software components of cutting-edge technology products in a secure, scalable manner. The role requires 3+ years of software engineering experience, strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, and hands-on experience with Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
3+ years of applied software engineering experience.
Proficiency in at least one system programming language (Java / Kotlin / Python / Go).
Experience with Linux, observability, and cloud platforms (AWS, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

Design, code, test, and deliver software to automate manual operational work.
Troubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless post-mortems, and ensure permanent closure of incidents.
Engage with the development team throughout the life cycle to help develop software for reliability and scale, ensuring minimal refactoring or changes.
Identify application patterns and analytics in support of better service level objectives.
Design self-healing and resiliency patterns.
Design automated software and product upgrades, change management, and release management solutions.
Perform Change Management to deploy applications to the desired environment.
Participate in the 24x7 support coverage as needed.
