Job summary

Capgemini is looking for a software engineer to join a high-performing team in Singapore. You will collaborate with developers and designers, participate in Agile ceremonies, and work across frontend and backend to build secure, scalable APIs and user experiences.

You will emphasize testing across the stack, CI/CD pipelines, and support deployments while communicating with stakeholders and contributing as an independent team member to deliver value for citizens and partners.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in software architecture and design patterns.
  • Testing across the stack including unit, integration and E2E.
  • Able to communicate with stakeholders and lead tracks when required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to create services for the public sector.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies (Planning, Review, Retrospective).
  • Work across frontend and backend to develop solutions for distribution of goods.
  • Iterate with team members to craft elegant, secure and maintainable code.
  • Build and maintain high-performance, secure APIs accessible through mobile apps and web portals.
  • Provide L2/L3 support and monitor health of deployed services.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of developers and designers to create services for the public sector.
  • Participate in various Agile ceremonies, such as Planning, Review and Retrospective
  • Work across the frontend and backend to develop solutions that focus on the distribution of physical and virtual goods.
  • Iterate and collaborate closely with other team members to craft elegant solutions.
  • Deliver high-quality, secure, maintainable and testable code.
  • Be an independent and impactful contributor to the team.
  • Build and maintain high performance and secure APIs accessible through mobile applications, web portals and partner services.
  • Develop user experiences for citizens, partners and members of the team.
  • Maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines to bring value to our users iteratively.
  • Monitor the health of deployed services and provide L2 and L3 support when disruptions occur.

Requirements

  • You have a strong foundation in software architecture and design patterns.

  • You are able to communicate and work with stakeholders (both technical and non technical) and lead tracks when required
  • You have good communication skills
  • Experience with containers or AWS (Amazon Web Services) is a bonus.
