Job summary

Capgemini Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a software architect to collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to public sector services, and drive high-quality, secure code across frontend and backend. The role emphasizes architecture, testing, and stakeholder collaboration within a fast-paced environment.

You will work on APIs for mobile apps and web portals, build scalable services, and participate in CI/CD pipelines while delivering user-centered experiences for citizens and partners.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in software architecture and design patterns.
• Keen emphasis on testing across the stack—unit, integration and end-to-end.
• Experience with JavaScript and backend languages, preferably TypeScript and Go.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and lead tracks when required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of developers and designers to create services for the public sector.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as Planning, Review and Retrospective.
• Work across frontend and backend to develop solutions for distribution of goods.
• Deliver high-quality, secure, maintainable, and testable code.
• Build and maintain high-performance APIs accessible via mobile apps, web portals and partner services.
• Develop user experiences for citizens, partners and team members.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and monitor deployed services.
• Provide L2/L3 support when disruptions occur; be an independent contributor.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of developers and designers to create services for the public sector.
• Participate in various Agile ceremonies, such as Planning, Review and Retrospective
• Work across the frontend and backend to develop solutions that focus on the distribution of physical and virtual goods.
• Iterate and collaborate closely with other team members to craft elegant solutions.
• Deliver high-quality, secure, maintainable and testable code.
• Be an independent and impactful contributor to the team.
• Build and maintain high performance and secure APIs accessible through mobile applications, web portals and partner services.
• Develop user experiences for citizens, partners and members of the team.
• Maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines to bring value to our users iteratively.
• Monitor the health of deployed services and provide L2 and L3 support when disruptions occur.

Requirements

• You enjoy collaborating closely with a passionate and high-performing team.

• You enjoy coming up with numerous solutions for a wide range of technical problems.
• You have a strong foundation in software architecture and design patterns.
• You place a keen emphasis on testing across the entire stack — unit, integration and E2E (end to end).
• You are experienced with javascript and backend languages, preferably Typescript and Go. We use both Typescript and Go across products and systems.
• You are able to communicate and work with stakeholders (both technical and non technical) and lead tracks when required
• You have good communication skills
• Experience with containers or AWS (Amazon Web Services) is a bonus.
