Job summary

Talent Trader Group (old) is seeking a backend software engineer to develop and maintain backend components and services for existing products and customer projects.

You will translate requirements into designs, integrate components, debug issues, review code, and contribute to AI-enabled features. Familiarity with C++/C# and SQL is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in software development, proficient in C++ and/or C#/.NET, with experience maintaining existing codebases. C++11/14 or later is welcome.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Familiarity with the full SDLC, from requirements analysis and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Experience designing software modules and test cases, including edge cases and failure scenarios.
• Understanding of concurrency, shared state, race conditions, synchronisation, and resource management.
• Strong debugging skills and ability to understand unfamiliar code.
• Working knowledge of Git (branches, merges, conflict resolution) and SQL (queries, joins, basic data updates).
