Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd is seeking a Software Engineer, Backend (.NET) to join our Engineering team in Singapore. You will write and maintain code, build APIs, and monitor the performance of internal systems using C#, .NET (MVC & Core), and SQL Server.

Responsibilities include debugging, code reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust backend services. A Bachelor's degree in CS and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET (MVC & Core) and SQL Server for backend development.
• Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, Razor, Blazor, React, and Next.js for frontend development.
• Experience building APIs and secure coding practices.
• Knowledge of authentication mechanisms and Cron jobs is advantageous.
• Familiarity with DevOps workflow and version control (Git/GitHub).
• Experience with code-first Entity Framework and cloud deployment.

Working Location: Bras Basah Road
Working Hours: 8am to 5pm/8.30am to 5.30pm/9am to 6pm/930am to 630pm (flexi)
Working Days: Monday - Friday
Salary Range: $3500 - $4000

Job Introduction

We are looking for a Software Engineer, Backend (.NET) to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will write and maintain code, build APIs, work on bug fixes, and monitor the technical performance of our internal systems, primarily using C#, .NET (MVC & Core) and SQL Server.

KEY ROLE(S), RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Attending and contributing to meetings.
• Learning the codebase and finding ways to improve it.
• Writing and maintaining code.
• Working on bug fixes.
• Monitoring the technical performance of internal systems.
• Responding to requests from the development team.
• Gathering information from users about program functionality.
• Writing reports, documentation and guides.
• Conducting development tests.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Minimum of 2 years working experience as a software engineer.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET (MVC & Core), and SQL Server for backend development
• Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, Razor, Blazor, React, and Next.js for frontend development
• Experience with database systems, specifically SQL Server.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices.
• Understanding of security and authentication mechanisms.
• Familiarity with Cron jobs.
• Experience in building APIs.
• Proficiency in a version control system, like Git or GitHub.
• Experience with the code-first entity framework and cloud deployment
• Familiarity with DevOps workflow.
• Good knowledge of email systems and Microsoft Office software.
• Experience in fintech or financial systems is an advantage but not required.
