Job summary

GovTech Singapore seeks an E&P Software Engineer to build internal tooling and platform solutions for 54 agencies. You will work at the intersection of developer tooling, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

The role involves problem framing, prototyping interventions, and delivering scalable solutions with strong engineering practices. Collaboration with agency CIO teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Solid foundation in Python, TypeScript/Node.js, Go.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and containerisation.
• CI/CD tools and automated testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyse operational data and engage agency teams to identify gaps.
• Prototype interventions (automation, tooling, dashboards) and iterate with stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable internal tooling and platform solutions.
• Run pilot projects, measure outcomes, and scale successful interventions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews.
