Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd is hiring a Software Engineer to join our Co-Development Business Unit in Singapore. The role involves end-to-end application development across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure, with a focus on robust CI/CD, data pipelines, and scalable APIs.

You will collaborate with data engineers, implement AI/ML in data pipelines, and ensure secure, observable systems. Experience with Node.js/TypeScript, React/Next.js, and cloud services is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript with modern web development practices.
• Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Next.js).
• Mobile-responsive web development and/or Progressive Web App (PWA).
• RESTful API design and development.
• Relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• RBAC implementation.
• Audit logging and data compliance (PDPA).
• Singpass/MyInfo/Corppass integration.
• Email/SMS notification services (AWS SES, SNS, Twilio).
• Scheduling, Attendance & Reporting features.
• Calendar-based scheduling and availability management.
• QR code-based attendance tracking.
• Dashboard and report generation (PDF, Excel).
• Hands-on cloud experience (AWS EC2/Lambda/RDS).
• CI/CD, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), IaC (Terraform, CDK), monitoring/observability.
• Prior experience building citizen-facing government systems.

Co-Development Business Unit is hiring for Software Engineer

What will you do?

• Hands-on experience with cloud services (e.g. AWS EC2/ Lambda/RDS or similar), including deployment and infrastructure management
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, CDK), and monitoring/observability practices
• Prior experience building citizen-facing government systems
